I had a lovely stay at Sussex Motel! The room was updated and beautifully decorated, featuring a large refrigerator and extra towels that added a nice touch. Jackie was exceptionally accommodating, ensuring I felt welcomed throughout my visit.

A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Our stay for one night in the Standard Double Room was mostly pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, though it initially had a musty odor that faded after airing it out. The AC worked well. I recommend keeping the door open for a while. Would stay again, but the initial smell was off-putting.

great water pressure

Just a strong match for a weekend getaway in Wantage with outstanding value for money. Noticed the hot shower had fantastic water pressure, which was a nice surprise after a long day out. Definitely keep the AC running for better comfort during warmer nights.

The room I stayed in was updated and very nice, featuring a good-sized refrigerator that kept my drinks perfectly chilled. The hot shower and fantastic water pressure were a delightful surprise, making my stay quite comfortable after a long day of hiking nearby. The owner was incredibly welcoming, treating me like family and making sure I had all the information I needed for my solo getaway.

The exterior could use some updating, which might be off-putting at first.

The large queen room was nicely decorated, featuring a good-sized refrigerator that kept our drinks and leftovers perfectly chilled. Jackie, the manager, was incredibly accommodating. she checked in on my crated dog while I was out for an event, which was a thoughtful touch. However, some towels were inconsistently soft, and the overall condition of the room could benefit from more attention to detail. Fresh bread rolls served during breakfast were a delightful highlight.
